Here are three beautiful songs for you! So you can learn new songs for spring to sing with your children and add them to your Waldorf homeschooling journey.

I’d love to hear from you if you choose to add them to your repertoire.

These songs were recorded at one of my Wednesday night sings by my wonderful singing group, Heartsong.

Many thanks to Riki, Deborah, Karen, Jennifer, and Janet for journeying with me in song these oh so many years.

Learn New Songs for Spring

Look at the Beauty
Look at the beauty, the springtime is coming.
Heya, heyo (3x)

(listen with Early One Morning below)

Early One Morning
Early one morning, clearly I heard,

Out in my garden, songs of a bird.

New Life’s Coming
New life’s coming, feel it coming.
New life’s coming after winter’s been so long.

May we all find ways to sing our song.

    1. Thanks Siobhan! My singing group is beginning to record our songs so that we can share them with more Mamas. This is a perfect way for me to be able to pass the joy of music along. Happy Spring!

    1. Thanks so much Tiffany for letting me know! I love to hear about people singing these songs especially with their children. We have the spring, snow, spring back and forth going on here too. And I’m always amazed at the strength of those little green shoots! Happy springtime to you.

  2. Thank you so much for these songs! I am using them in 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th grade at the Waldorf Newen School in Chiloé Chile and the kids adore ‘New life’s coming’!

  3. Love these songs! Finally something not so squeaky high that I feel confident I can teach to my boys. Do you have the sheet music for these songs? I would love to learn them on the recorder. Thanks again!

  4. Love these songs. Thank you for sharing. I would love access to a singing group like this. There is nothing local to me so I have tried to find online singing groups. Have you ever thought about recording a class to show how you build in rounds, harmonies etc? It is something I, and I think many others, would be interested in.

    1. Thanks so much, Tania. We started this group over 20 years ago, just a group of Moms who wanted to get together and do something uplifting. So we started singing together. You could start a circle in your area! We are a small group of six and really like it that way. I love your idea of recording a class on rounds and harmonies! I’ll think on how to make that happen. Thanks for the idea. 🙂
